Okiko Terms of Use
Effective date: 1 November 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Yousef Kadah, an individual developer shown as KadahTech on Google Play and as Youseif Kadah on the App Store, PO Box 545, Kafr Manda, Israel ("we", "us"). They cover the game Okiko: Tic Tac Toe Online ("Okiko" or "the game") on iOS and Android. By downloading or playing Okiko, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the game.
1. Who can play
- You must be at least 13 years old, or older if your country sets a higher minimum age for using online services without a parent's consent.
- If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you and supervise purchases.
2. Your account
- You can play as a guest. A guest account lives on your device. If you uninstall the app or lose the device before signing in, the guest account and its progress may be lost for good.
- You can sign in with Apple, Google or email to keep your progress across devices. Keep your sign-in details secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- One person, one account for competitive play. Don't use several accounts to manipulate matches, rewards or the leaderboard.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account (see our account deletion page).
3. Your license to use the game
We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to download and play Okiko for your own non-commercial entertainment, on devices you own or control, under these Terms and the rules of the store you got it from. All rights in the game, including its code, artwork, the Okiko character, avatars, sounds and texts, belong to us or our licensors. Fonts are used under their open-font licenses, which are shown in the app.
You must not:
- copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or resell the game, except where the law expressly allows it;
- use cheats, bots, scripts, modified clients, or any tool that automates play or interferes with the game or its servers;
- exploit bugs. If you find one, please report it to yousefkadah@gmail.com;
- try to access other players' accounts or data, or our systems, without permission;
- use the game for anything unlawful.
4. Coins, skins and other virtual items
- Coins and skins are virtual items. You earn coins by playing, from the daily reward and as a starting balance, and you can buy them with real money. Virtual items are licensed to you, not sold. They have no real-world value, can't be exchanged for money or anything else of value, can't be transferred or sold to other people, and can't be cashed out. Online matches never require coins to join.
- We may adjust balances to correct errors, reverse coins obtained by cheating, bugs or fraud, or rebalance the game. We'll never remove virtual items you bought without a valid reason, such as a refund, chargeback, fraud or a breach of these Terms.
- Virtual items are tied to your account. They're lost when you delete your account, or if we close it for a serious breach of these Terms.
- If we ever discontinue the game, we'll give at least 30 days' notice in the app. You will not be able to use any remaining virtual items after that, subject to your rights under applicable consumer law.
5. Purchases
- Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms and payment rules. Prices are shown in the store before you confirm.
- A coin pack is delivered to your account once the store confirms the payment. If a payment is pending, the coins arrive when it completes.
- Remove Ads is a one-time purchase that removes the banner ad from the game. You can restore it on a new device with "Restore purchases", using the same store account.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies. If you're a consumer in the EU, the UK or another country with a similar law, you agree that digital content is supplied immediately after purchase. You therefore lose your statutory right of withdrawal once delivery begins, without affecting any other rights you have under consumer law. If a purchase is refunded, we may remove the coins or items it delivered.
6. Advertising
The free game may show one banner ad on menu screens, never during a match. Ads come from Google AdMob and are limited to AdMob's PG rating (content suitable for most audiences, with parental guidance). We're not responsible for third-party products or websites shown in ads. Your consent choices are explained in the Privacy Policy.
7. Fair play and community rules
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive players. You must not:
- choose a player name that is offensive, hateful, sexual, violent, harassing, impersonates someone, or contains personal data or advertising;
- harass, threaten or intimidate other players;
- cheat, collude with an opponent, deliberately lose to boost another account, or abuse timeouts or disconnects to manipulate results.
Report and block. You can report any player, with a reason, from the leaderboard or after a match, and block them so you're never matched again. We review reports, normally within 24 hours. Depending on what happened, we may rename the player, remove them from the leaderboard, reverse rewards, or suspend or close the account, with or without notice. If you think we made a mistake, email yousefkadah@gmail.com and we'll review our decision.
8. Your content
Your player name is the only content you create in the game. You keep any rights you have in it, and you give us a worldwide, royalty-free license to store and show it to other players for as long as your account exists. You confirm that your name doesn't infringe anyone's rights or break section 7.
9. Availability and changes
Online features need an internet connection and depend on our servers and service providers. We work to keep the game available, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change or remove features, rebalance the economy, or require updates to keep playing online.
10. Disclaimers
The game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms limits warranties or rights that the law doesn't allow us to exclude, including your rights as a consumer.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of virtual items, data or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the game is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and (b) USD 50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
12. Ending these Terms
You can stop playing at any time and delete your account in the app. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or if we must do so by law. Sections 3 (restrictions), 4, 10, 11, 13 and 14 survive termination.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Israel. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in its courts. Please contact us first at yousefkadah@gmail.com; most problems can be solved quickly that way.
14. Apple and Google stores
If you downloaded Okiko from the Apple App Store:
- These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the game or its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the game.
- If the game fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you can notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation regarding the game.
- Apple is not responsible for any claims by you or a third party relating to the game. That includes product liability claims, claims that the game fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
- If a third party claims that the game or your use of it infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of that claim.
- You confirm that you're not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo, or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you're not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
If you downloaded Okiko from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your download and purchases.
15. General
- If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- If we don't enforce a right right away, we haven't waived it.
- You may not transfer these Terms. We may transfer them to a company that takes over the game; your rights won't be reduced.
- We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version with a new effective date and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they apply. If you keep playing after that, you accept the new Terms.
